Support PHC to strengthen its capacity to fulfil the remit of National Reference Laboratory for antimicrobial resistance by enhancing the national AMR surveillance through the establishment of whole genome sequencing (WGS) and bioinformatic analysis, the strengthening of provision of expert guidance to regional laboratories, confirmation of- and reporting of emerging resistance threats, and the advising on national antimicrobial resistance policy.
